History & Need:
YBEEP activities were funded by the Bonneville Power Administration from 1991 through the 2007-08 school year.
Since then program activities have been supported by contracts & donations from public & private organizations & individuals. 501(c)3 status was received for the program in June, 2010. As state & federal budget cuts increase, YBEEP is increasingly dependent upon individual & corporate donations to educate students & the public about environmental issues.
